huuge confidence booster. felt i need to do a long run and opted for 7. decided on meadowbrook park and hail to the thief. run went swimmingly. felt great on the way out, minor knee disturbances and lovely weather... mid seventies, twilight, no wind. paused for a quick minute break at the fountain for a drink and a stretch of the quads. way back was obviously a little tougher but still not bad at all. could've gone 8 or 9 without too much difficulty. granted, i took yesterday off and will likely be a bit sore tomorrow, but very pleased. gloaming in the gloaming. longest run since marathon and i think third longest since february? anyway, gonna go ice and watch 2001. pleased.
