great run. pace and distance are up for grabs. decided, for the first time, to run straight from work. got advice from mark and set out, going up into the foothills on the left side of the dam, running along the road across (which was crazy due to strong downslope winds) and then doing a loop on the right side of the dam before coming down again and back up to the department. saw a fair number of people with dogs. extremely warm weather for december, so had to take advantage. certainly a tough run given the huge amount of elevation change and rocky terrain. lots of fun though, and will certainly run from work again.
