COMMENTS: ah yes, the old xc challenge. eric and rooney came in the van. arrived late for the start, so started a good minute behind everybody. interesting as it was passing at least five hundred people, i would've run about 37 had i started at the gun. 'twas a good race for me, as i ran it like a fartlek- pass twenty people, keep pace, repeat. passed rooney and gus in fourth mile. spikes were very helpful. food afterwards was appreciated. ride home was sleepy, creamy, warm.
