met eric and rooney at the path, ran to knoch knolls through breckenridge. a long patch of icy shit down naperplainfield. went a little into the forest but the path was all melting ice. turned back and came back past rooney's house. not continuous due to stops in the forest and at rooney's house, but some solid miles of varying pace. lovely temperature comparatively- felt very nice. methinks a day off might be in the cards this week just to give the legs a little rest from all the pounding. maybe do exercises instead. but that said, the next few days are all going to be mild and it'd be a shame to waste them. but no point in getting worn and injured now.
