superb autumn day, sunny and pretty still but cool enough in the shadow of the hill. a bit stiff starting out, and then slower on the uphills than the last time, with some lingering tiredness in legs. worth mentioning that the course isn't the exact same that i've done quite a bit recently- route on the west side has changed due to the steep parts getting eroded a lot, which makes sense. the new section is nicer, anyway. couldn't tell if it was further or shorter, but certainly not as steep. a few other folks out today too, taking advantage of great weather.
