cold and windy. map is saved: up to bradley, down mckinley and across john, down mattis (which was rather icy and annoying), alllll the way along windsor to race, up race (sticking to the bike paths as they tended to be clear), over to vine for a little bit, then back along washington/busey/green/wright. did this humongous box because i thought it'd be 14 miles. was rather surprised that it turned out to be the same time as i ran last weekend! very pleasantly surprised with the pace though... especially given the icy mattis and the wind coming up race and back home. the wind was from NW, so mostly with me the whole stretch along windsor which definitely helped out. very pleased, just with it were the full 14. minimal shin pain with new shoes.
