hot again. still, wanted to run in morning before it was too unbearable since i'm going out for dinner tonight. didn't run earlier because i watched the fifth avenue mile. went up ponderosa, ditched the shirt, then into cemetery. no real time or route in mind. did a sort of loop, stopped to stretch, then did a quicker (7min) mile-ish loop of the whole cemetery. cut off a corner since there were people presumably viewing graves and i didn't want to interfere. easier pace on the way back. heavier shoes. down week for mileage. not the end of the world especially if i start a 2 up 1 down regimen, but the knee is a major concern. getting it looked at on tuesday. 2 ibuprofen before run, stretching before and after.
