I actually got to run with people! There was a pretty big group of runners on the track called Aravaipa Running. There were a bunch of guys doing 800s there, 2 of them were consistently running 2:20s but they had almost 4-5 minutes of rest between 7 800s. I did my workout between their reps and picked the wrong day to try out my spikes because they tore my feet apart, making it impossible for me to cool down or finish the last 200. Still felt nice to get a little speed in. I'll try to join those guys for more workouts soon.
