Whew! This was a good, solid tempo run for me. It was a challenge, but a good challenge and I feel great now. It's hard to go that fast for that long though! I'm sure actually getting a full nights sleep helped. This was also completely on the trail. I skipped going out at 0530 since the group was doing the Diner Run and I really wanted my tempo on the trail this week. I let myself sleep in and went out at 0600 instead. The additional advantage to that is it was light by 0600. This being Thursday I didn't have to worry about rushing into work either which was also really nice.
