Wow! This was awesome, and definitely the best tempo run I've had in a long time. I can't express how great it feels to be able to do this again. Met both Dans at Stadium this morning. I brought Shuffle since I was figuring I'd be on my own after a w/u, but both guys stayed with me, encouraged me, and helped me blast out an incredible run. I had to work hard for these times, but it was the type of hard work that I knew I could pull out today. I would have wilted after mile 3 of the tempo, but the encouragement they gave me got me my best tempo pace on the last mile! I'm not sure if it was just a good day for me, the warm weather, the encouragement of the guys or all of the above, but I'm very happy. This was a ton of fun!
