Notes

Ha! This is slow, but it felt really good and I had a nice time. Solo today since I worked Fri.night/Sat. so missed going out with anyone. I wanted to try this route too as I have proposed to Lisa to host an Uprise Run again this year. I wanted to change the part going around the wetlands. I find that confusing - people usually end up going different ways, and it's not very redeeming toward the end of the run. So, I added on downtown, and then put in Greenbrier since it's so nice. Was sweaty when I finished - about 80 degrees w/ some humidity, but not stiffling at all. It's just so nice to have a fun route and a comfortable route feeling so good. I really, really like this route.

Huntridge to R. on Carter

R. on CV to trail

L. on trail - (water/bathrooms)

Past the stadium (construction, but there is a pedestrian walkway to still go through tunnel under Stadium)

L. on College to Broadway

L. on Broadway to 9th

L. on 9th to Elm (past Peace Park)

Elm to Marathon Park - get on trail there (water) - just shy of 5 miles at this point (4.65 I think)

Trail past Stewart (water) (about at the 5 mile point) to Stadium Trail Head (water/bathrooms)

Take spur to MU Rec Trail

MU Rec Trail to Greenbrier Trail

From Greenbrier - leave subdivision and turn Right on Green Meadows Circle (Fire Station will be on the left when you get to the Green Meadows Cir/Green Meadows intersection)

Cross Green Meadows to Bethel

Bethel to L. on El Cortez

El Cortez till it ends at the Providence Pedestrian Walkway (turn Left on Pedway)

Providence Pedway to Green Meadows - cross at intersection (two big crossings)

Turn L. at roundabout to back on Carter

R. on Huntridge - to my driveway it's 9.65 miles. Continue on Huntridge till Highpointe Park on the left - turn around and go back to my driveway for 10 even!
