A great run in the pouring rain! It was very hard to be motivated to go out in the cold rain this a.m, but the misery of the conditions only lasted a few minutes and then the whole run felt really great. It just happened to be one of those days when it all clicked & I was quite comfortable throughout. This was to be an easy run and effort-wise it was, but we did go faster and farther than originally intended. Additionally, the announcement was made, to the dripping crowd gathered around the beadmaster, that Jaira had her baby!
