Ohhh! Pretty!!! Look at the pretty splits! The plan was to do 5 miles with 2 miles tempo (cutting back a little d/t Hospital Hill this Sat.). Ended up doing 3 for sure at a great tempo pace, with really the last one at what I consider near tempo pace as well, so it could almost be a 4 mile tempo. It felt great. I I wasn't even that blown out -- kind of I guess, but not so bad, really. It was an odd day. I was exhausted at work all day, but I think that was d/t the a/c being whacked out and it was like a freezer on the floor. Being so cold makes me tired. I got to Stadium a few minutes early, so since I had some time b/4 meeting Dan and Leslie I threw the sheet on the grass and soaked up some sun. It felt wonderful. When they arrived ,I forced myself to get going. Starting out ,I still felt really sleepy, but my legs and lungs were not tired at all and were ready to rock and roll! I ran with Dan, and we just cruised along having a good ole time. This run really wasn't that hard and I don't know why, but I'm loving it. Every now and then it's nice to work semi-hard and still see super results. Now, an easy run tomorrow a.m., rest and pamper Friday, and hope for the best Saturday!
