Well, this was different! Didn't get to bed till later than usual last night so slept in & missed the a.m. run. Figured I'd do something different anyway and run at Stephen's Lake after work. I don't especially like running out there, but wanted to do it anyway. Left home & while on Stadium, a construction truck with a trailer rear ended me while I was stopped at a light which forced me into the car ahead of me. Everybody is okay, although perhaps my neck is feeling a little stiff now that I think about it, but poor Subaru is injured. I'll have to see what the repairs will involve. I will be without her for a while I'm sure. :( Very, very sad. The other guys in the accident couldn't have been kinder or more helpful though, and we exchanged info. so we'll see how it all turns out. Ok, but slightly shaken, I headed out to Stephen's and started on my run. I had in mind 5 - 6 which, of course means I really wanted 6, but this was a tougher run for me today and it was all I could do to get the 5. Guess I could have done 6, but every time I went past Subaru I felt bad, plus just didn't have it in me so I stopped. Maybe it was running after work in the p.m. which isn't always that great for me, maybe it was the sun/heat, or more than likely I was still kind of shaken & all those things combined made it tougher than I wanted. Considering all, the paces are much better than I expected or hoped for. I was happy to get some miles in the warmer temperatures though & Stephen's has always been an unpleasant run for me so it was all okay. Appreciated the get together afterward to close down Dunn Bro. & to help pick up all the various pieces of me & Subaru!
