Why do I run: I like to see how far I can push myself and what I can overcome when running. It amazes me (and scares me sometimes), but it makes me feel fulfilled and centered. The endorphins aren't bad either. It really clicked when I figured out that I am only running against myself and the performance of others is irrelevant. |
Why I started running: I was "coerced" into doing the running leg of a team Triathlon at work so I started a couch to 5k plan through my local Tri store. It stuck and I found that I really loved running so I kept at it. Now I try to challenge myself more and more and do those things I said I never would (13.1 for example). |
