Tried to do a mile time trial but it didn't go so well. Cold weather combined with mentally focusing way too much on time and splits and not just running hard meant I had a pretty big positive split (2:31, 2:43). I'd call it more of an 85/90 percent effort. Took 4min rest after the mile and went right into some 200s w 45 seconds rest. I wanted to force myself to move quickly while already tired.
