By all accounts this did not make sense. I felt really tired today and considered cancelling the run and all future life plans but I swung it anyway out of spite for Kyle. About a mile and a half in I heard a voice calling to me and it was Olson himself, trying to catch up. It gave me confidence to see him struggling at my easy pace. Today was quick, but I was in control the entire time. Finished the last mile in 6:42 and did 4 x 100 m strides afterwards. Cadence was 175
