No words can describe the pain I felt on this run. I already had a lead on Sam, but I wasn't taking chances and killed myself on the 10k. If the distance is accurate here I might have PR'd my standalone 5k. I got out kicked by some lady in the last 50 meters but I just didn't give a fuck by that point. I took 3rd overall for men and 1st for my age group. Beat Nelson by a solid 4 minutes. Finishing time was 2:30:57 but by all accounts the swim was very long and it was a hilly course so I am not too worried about that.
