Notes
Felt pretty relaxed. Not necessarily easy but not hard. Didn't really have a plan today, just wanted to get out and get some exercise. I think it would help to run with some goals in mind... Right now I mostly just want to lose some weight. I'm like 160 right now which is kinda overweight for me. I would like to get down into the 140's again, which always felt like a healthier weight for me. It's frankly hard to believe I could weight that much now. I guess a pandemic will do that to you. I think that if I just start getting consistent miles it shouldn't be too hard to slim back down. I think I will start with 25 minutes easy a day. And one long run at 30 minutes. Two weeks shouldn't be tough. I can reassess when I'm done.
Long term... Be able to run under 20 minutes for a 5k. Which, should be easily doable with a few months of training under my belt. Also, I would like to get into the gym once or twice a week to do some squats and bench. One upper body day, one lower body day. Keep it nice and simple.
