Notes
Final leg. I was FUCKING gassed. My legs were numb from start to finish, but I still managed to hold a solid 6:45ish pace for most of the run. There was a hill about a mile and a half in that went straight up a mountain and it was just gay. I have never come so close to walking during a race before. There was a guy playing guitar at the top which was cute but then there was nothing cute about getting back down the mountain. I basically fell down the damn thing. I wound up passing the one dude ahead of me about halfway through and ran alone for the rest of the race to win my heat in 1:18:31
I took 4th out of 11 in the 20-24 year old age group and took 47th overall for men. Pleased with today's performance especially considering I have a fractured foot.
