Workout today went fairly well. We did 3x2k with 4 minutes rest between, and 2x1k with 2.5 minutes rest in between. They went as follows: 6:00, 5:57, 5:57, 2:56, 2:50. The first 1k was probably longer and the 2nd was probably shorter, so they probably averaged out to 2:53 each.
