Good workout today. 2.3+ mile warmup, 5k tempo at (15:10.84) and then 1.5 mile cooldown to poly canyon (took a wrong turn), did 4x(3'-hard/3'-rest), and then 3-4miles cooldown after that. Going up poly canyon sucked but going down was much easier (obviously). We got a good workout going both ways going up We averaged around 4:50 pace and going down we averaged 4:28-4:32pace; averaging those we get about the same pace if not a little faster than what we were doing for the 5k tempo in these ~1k repeats.
