4 mile tempo

Notes

Good run today, felt pretty comfortable (which makes sense bc the tempo was drastically shorter that what I've been doing), 2.5 mile warmup (6:25, 6:11, 3:03), four mile tempo (5:00, 4:59, 4:58, 4:52), and then a 3.5 mile cooldown (6:21, 6:11, 6:08, 2:58). Tempo felt very comfortable. First two miles were controlled, third mile I was getting a little fatigued towards the end , but barely, and the last mile was significantly tougher but I know I could have ran faster I just didnt want to blast the last mile bc that would have felt random. I went out exactly where I wanted though. I know I can do it faster next time but I'm content with the way things went today. The only thing that really got tight was my arms a little bit from weights this morning that's about it. Also, my leg felt great today, I worked it out a ton in the training room yesterday after practice and it helped a lot.
