Great workout. 14 mile progressive type tempo run. Mile splits went as follows: 7:11, 6:49, 6:41, 6:32, 6:24, 6:17, 5:51, 5:49, 5:41, 5:50, 6:02, 5:18, 5:20, 4:50. we started out pretty slow and had took a wrong turn on mile 11 (6:02), but other than that the workout was pretty solid and me and nate were able to drop a sub 5 mile at the end. it totally felt like i was just keeping 5:20 pace, but i guess it was a 4:50 after all. maybe i was just too tired to notice, ha....anyways, afterwards (later throughout the day and what not), my right knee seemed pretty sore. it seemed to originate from beneath the patella or around that area (hopefully not runners knee). its not THAT bad, just enough to notice and ice, and just keep and eye on.
