No problems with the ankles. Did the bucket of ice water thing anyway. I may try going a little further in the next couple days.
New shoes today. I bought another pair of New Balance 730s, this time a 1/2 size smaller at 9 EE. Perfect fit. Price was right too; $44 on sale.
