I messed up my right ankle somehow in the first, easiest mile of this easy run. It only hurt for a few strides and then the sensation went away. However, a couple hours later I noticed a bit of swelling and maybe some stiffness. It's on both the medial and the lateral sides of the lower leg, about 3 inches above the ankle. I don't feel anything when I walk, but the swelling is there and it hurts if I press on it with my fingers. Low-grade high ankle sprain, perhaps? I guess I'll need to take things easy for a few days. At least I don't have a race or anything like that to worry about.
