It gets hot down here as soon as the sun comes up. Before that it's really buggy.
My wife discovered this nature preserve the other day that had markings from some sort of 5K race start/finish in the parking lot. This morning I jogged over and then ran fairly hard on a gravel road through the woods. It was nice to be in the shade for the hardest part of the run.
