Notes

I thought things went a lot better today. Have been feeling horrible since Wednesday and this morning wasn't an exception. Was practically getting dropped on the shakeout. I thought I ran the 1st 2 miles perfectly. Went out conservative in 5:21, then came through 2 miles in 10:38 but started feeling bad 2.5 in and I just couldn't go any faster. Just was another one of those days where my lungs and legs weren't on the same page. Felt like I dogged it in the last half and had no kick. I also haven't been able to get in a competitive mindset yet. But all in all better than last week. Relatively hard course (x6 pain in the ass hills) so the fact that I was close to PRing is a good sign of things to come. I think hills are by far my biggest weakness so having a flat course two weeks from now is exciting and I think I can PR big time and help "fill the void". This will be my last week at ~80ish then dropping to 70 so should start feeling fresher. The team is looking super good. Much better shape than we were last season. We should be scary by the time leagues rolls around.
