Notes
Just kind of winged it and winged myself in the process. Just showed up wanting to make myself tired, not having anything specific in mind. There was a fine layer of frost in lane one so it was a little slick, there was still grip but it was slick. Did the first 800 in 2:26 which felt hard and was a shock to my lungs (kind of cold out) so I took a little recovery and tried for a 4. Those felt better. Got through 3 and was pretty tired. The slick footing meant I was working harder than I should to hit the pace (I was also in trainers). Had enough of the 4s and wanted to hit some fast 200s. Went through the first 100m and was flying, came around the turn an felt my hammy tighten up and instinctively grabbed it and stepped off the track max drexler style. Felt pretty bad on the cooldown, feels fine today - hopefully the prednisone I was prescribed for my gross hives will help repair my muscle quicker.
