Only felt a little pain 1st mile then it disappeared. Only did 5 because I'd rather spend more time in the pool than on the road at this point in the recovery process. Reasons pace was quick: 1) Fresher legs than I am used to, same effort that I usually put in. 2) I was worried that I would have trouble doing the pace needed for the time trial and I needed to prove to myself I can do it.
