went out with wescott and we traded the lead a lot. i should've just sat on him the whole time and not taken the lead until the end but live and learn i guess. this is the end of my competitive sophomore track season. time to pace griffin and get ready for summer training

You closed this race out really well, probably the best I've ever seen you look. As far as overall strategy you shouldn't have traded the lead with him so much in the second mile. You should have done one of two things; pick it up steadily throughout that second mile to grind him down, or let him lead and then hammer him the last 8-600. I know that your disappointed with your performance overall so remember how this feels every time your tired in a work out, in lifting, or in a race.
