dead air, thick and soupy. three herons, one in flight under hikichibashi just as i stood there looking for him. cormorant on the highest point of the footbridge structure, must have scared off all the crows. sea less murky this morning than it was yesterday, fish jumping, fat carp lounging near the liquor store. pigeons came by but no bread--too bad! they didn't come yesterday when I had some for them... family with a little baby tent camping right on the beach by the skatepark, they went in for a morning dip before breakfast--clothes and all. looked refreshing. gonna be a hot one. muggy and no wind--worst combination
