cool! slight drizzle. chilly on finishing. saw a heron in the south clump of weeds at the fountain, water high enough after the rain to flood the northern clump. saw another at the mouth of the river on the sandbank (low tide, even though the river was high)... swallows, gulls, kites, crows, shorebirds, pigeons, sparrows, even a sekirei this morning. not much surf. the coolness is energizing.
