well my winter sugar addiction has certainly taken its toll. gonna have to get serious about reining it in. having insulin issues--odd hunger pangs during the run this morning. not to mention the ridiculous amount of flab i seem to be carrying around on my gut and thighs. right knee tight but not really painful while running, kinda hurts going up and down stairs, and the stretch at the liquor store was not good. john the giant blue heron was at the mouth of the river. he saw me but didn't get too spooked because i made it a point not to look at him too long. old familiar faces out and about at the usual time
