still the moon. herons at fountain and on the pipe north of the footbridge. cormorants running on water under the turnaround bridge and one (I think) in the water north of the same bridge. windy and maybe a bit drier. fuji visible, still snow. car stuck in the sand near the fisherman's place--fools. gonna need a tow truck I think. a few surfers but the waves were shapeless and the water murky. not so inviting. brought some moldy bread to feed the pigeons and carp.
