lots of police at the hikichi river jetty opposite the skatepark. couldn't figure out what was going on, but there were three police vehicles and a crowd of people standing around on the jetty. after the crowd dispersed, the cars were still there when i was making my way home. surf able surf today and no wind. cormorants drying their wings on the blue pipe, about 5 or 6 of them.
