I did ok. Decent. Didn't embarrass myself like last year, that's for sure. First lap was wayyyyy slower than I've gone out all year with Wade. 70!?!? At state?!?? I was stuck in 4 the whole way around the first lap so before the turn I just jogged by everybody, took the lead, and claimed my inside spot. Seriously, I didn't even have to try in order to pass them. Wtf. Led the first one though haha. The laps just seemed to get faster and faster each time. I know the 2nd was faster than the first. Crossed the 800 at about 2:18. It was Arndt and Schroeder and Wade up in the front. I was up there the first 4ish laps. can't remember, really. Just felt people filtering around me most the race after the 1st lap. Had an inside spot at my pace the entire race though, so I can't complain. Should have pushed harder. I think I could have, but it's just one of those things. Oh well. I'll take it for not caring about the taper. Seriously, that was one shitty taper hahahaha. Last meet of my high school career. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY I'm done with track yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yes yes yes yes yes. Now on to the week-ish break and then XC <3
