GPS is squirrely in the woods anyway but not sure why it has me stopped on the map in the middle of the single track with no more elevation gain....?

It would have been at least another 1.5 (so 9 mi day?) back to the car. I should have just run off of time. nonetheless, the single track got my legs moving quickly through the winding/rolling trail. the turnover probably loosened up lactic acid, but conversely i think it put a good amount of strain on my joints and back haha. good run all and all - got lost on some new loops and got a little lost in my thoughts too.
