A little slower than last weeks workout. the effort was there, but I certainly felt it in my legs. they were tired and didn't really want to turn over. Mentally, I was a little slow to be motivated, thinking I could puss out at 6 for whatever stupid reason. Maccoy and I also did it in the dark (starting at 6:15AM) so that first one was hella slow b/c we started in the pitch black darkness with no idea how fast we were going hah. The spikes again felt good and light, but I certainly felt the strain in my calves and glutes. I am wondering if this was a factor in my wartburg performance. I will continue to do workouts in the matumbos, but will wear my nb xc spikes come regionals if I am still not comfortable in the nikes.
