weighed in at 160.6. probably the lightest ive been since freshman yr. feeling fit.
5x1600m @ 5k pace (working down) // 8 min interval, walk jog rest
1) 5:15 - right on pace
2) 5:11 - planned cut down
3) 5:13 - wanted sub 5:10 but still good pace
4) 5:13 - positive split on second half but keeping overall workout consistency
5) 5:24 - christ, i hope i messed up this split. mac only did 4, so I did this one solo. came across the half a little slow so i stopped looking at my watch and just started grinding... obviously that didnt benefit me.
overall a decent workout. still baffled at the shittyness of #5. mental strength is still my weakness. i need to get out of my head and focus on the track in the middle-late laps of reps and near the end of the sets.
