Why do I run:
To be fit enough to spend all day and more in the mountains when I want to....! |
Why I started running:
After watching Bill Rodgers win the 1975 Boston Marathon, I was inspired. I was a gym rat and only jogged on the mill to warm up....after watching Billy run that race, I wanted to be a part of marathon running.
Ran my first in 3:45 at NYC in 3:45, 2nd one year later in 2:59 at NYC and 6 weeks later ran a 2:49, qualifying for Boston and was hooked for life. |
