Alex brought us out in a 5:30 first mile like a psychopath and I never really recovered to be honest. i was at 177 beats per minute after a mile and couldnt bring it down. this was hard and sucky and not a fun day. high 60s 90% humidity out on the trail as well.
going to try to just take this one as a learning experience
