had a nice run on the trails. It was only a little bit muddy which was nice. the weather was incredible though.
I also had yet another interaction that reinforced for me why I like bloomington so much more as a runner's town than crawfordsville. There was this girl in the parking lot for the trails when I left for my run and she was there again when I got back. I saw her smiling at me so I asked her if she had been out hiking the whole time I had been running. It turned out she had and we chatted some. I found out that she is also a runner herself and we had a nice chat about that. I am not saying an interaction like this is impossible in crawfordsville, I am just saying that I have never been smiled at by a woman in her 20s in crawfordsville while wearing running shorts.
