Notes

I am not 100% sure on the distance for this because of the nature of our workout. Our workout was 5x2minutes hard with 1minute jogging recovery and 5x1minute hard with 30 seconds jogging recovery. each of the sets of 5 were a pyramid effort wise as well. The first one was tempo, the second one was interval, the third one was all out, the 4th interval and the 5th tempo. One of my mates was about 200 meters or so behind me at the finish and said it logged as 6k for him so I was 6200 meters and then we ran a hard 6 minutes after that. I probably did not run a full 1800 as would be required to make it an 8k on the day but I was closer to that than I was to 1600 so I am rounding a little bit.

Overall it was a good session. I reeled in and passed Darren on the last couple of reps and was up with the front group until we started spreading out. I think I was getting more out of a 1 minute recovery than everyone else was but I think that is down to my mileage.
