My leg 1 (leg 4) of S2S relay. Instant parched throat, pretty hot , but going into the wind helped, wonderful support from teammates helped... Felt crappy for a few miles, got a groove for a bit, then crappy again the last mile -- included getting shuttled across the freeway where a runner got hit earlier that morning... :(. Very happy with my pace in that heat.
