Final leg of S2S relay -- the most spectacular of them all -- a bit sleep deprived and wonky from the roller coaster ride, I took off on this flat/downhill section out on a quiet country road under the Perseid meteor shower in great running temps. It's bittersweet, because I have this amazing perfect memory, near where only a few hours later a drunk driver hit and killed a participant...
