Diane for company. We run to the top of the Bummer Peak/Ridge Intersection, then walked the Phase-1 flagged section of the proposed trail. The route still looks promising. We ran the rest of the way back to the Grey Pine Trailhead via the Keyhole, North Slope, and Boar Scat. Time is estimated.
Diane had a few good suggestions for Phase-2 of the trail-building project. She proposed using a switchback that allows for a more scenic route further down the mountain without creating another Bummer Peak-like climb to Ridge.
