Notes
The Boontling Classic returned with its signature small-town sense of community after a three-year Covid hiatus.
Every participant won at least one raffle prize. And I scored a donated bottle of Roederer Estate Brut and a Greenwood Ridge Pinot Noir. That haul covered the $15 entry fee by a long mile.
I ran okay despite losing by three seconds to a local nine-year-old. Achilles squeaked softly just once during a downhill stretch of the first mile.
