Diane, Tadd, and I ran over Gallo's beautiful property next to Souverain Winery in Asti. I'm using my prerogative in logging this rolling vineyard route as a long-run despite being somewhat short of ten miles.
We lunched at Diavolo in Geyserville, famous for pizza yet still one of the finest restaurants in Sonoma County.
