Out early to beat the heat. But was moving slowly after a rough night.
Yesterday afternoon I wine-tasted with Tropical John, Lisa, and Diane at the Notre Vous Winery. TJ joined their Wine Club, granting him the privilege of legal access to an expansive trail network. We need trespass no more, at least in the foothills north of Arata Lane in Windsor.
After the wine tasting, Ken joined us for some sustenance at the temporary digs of TJ and Lisa. TJ was the barbeque master while Lisa ensured my wine glass was never empty. And that might explain why I was moving slowly on the trail this morning after a rough night.
